Emily Keown

This  collaborative project began as shared correspondence between two moms of twins who gave up careers and studios for better or for worse.  We started in 2012, using snail mail to exchange jump-starts to projects and ideas to keep our heads above water… in fact, our letters are probably the richest part of the exchange – an honest and unedited account of our bond. Our work grew to an online platform with challenges and exchanges between 12 active members, most new mothers who are re-emerging artists.
